I have been a fan of Defect longer than I can remember (long enough to have been an idiot kid on a motorbike with a guitar over his shoulder).
When the chance came to carry out the commercial artwork and portraits for the new album cover for their upcoming release I had to jump at the chance. Working on the concept and theme together through mood boards and inspirational images we came up with a plan. With timescales tight and our diaries jam packed it came down to a four hour studio shoot on a cold winters night.
With the shots in the bag it was time to edit and create the cover, after some initial concepts we decided on our final design and a few hours later the new album cover was finished. The additional images have been used for PR and general release material.
